Poorly sorted and thrown haphazardly into shoeboxes after my grandmother ripped them out of the many albums that took up too much space on her shelves; I tried to cruise through some of my great grandmothers photographs together with my grandparents.
Inspired by Catherine Russel's and Benjamin Walter's theories on archiveology and appropriation, this film is an exploration of memory and approval, as well as of one of the women who came before me.
Thank you to;
My great grandmother Karin, my grandfather Ingmar, my grandmother Karin and my brilliant professors and fellow students at the MA of Visual Anthropology at Goldsmiths University.
